Control snails on plants
Every insect has a function. Likewise, snails eat fallen leaves and other organic material. In addition, they are important food for birds and other animals. A few snails on your plants is not a problem at all, your plant can handle this just fine. Sometimes the balance in the garden can be lost, causing the creatures to develop into a pest.
By regularly providing your plants with organic fertilizers you will get strong and resilient plants. This way, pests have less chance of striking. Are you still dealing with a plague? Then you can first chase them away with the help of a copper tape. Doesn't this work? You can then switch to using natural enemies so that nature solves the pest itself. Are you still bothered by the snails after a few weeks? Then Escar-Go is a good solution to get the pest under control.

Do you have a snail plague and, for example, do you have a lot of damage due to feeding? Then fighting snails is a good solution to protect your plants. Escar-Go is a product in granular form to effectively combat snails, it works on the snail's crop gland. When the snail eats the slug pellets, its appetite immediately stops. The snail retreats to its hiding place, where it dies. You will not find any slimy remains of the snail in the garden or around the plants. The dried out remains of the snail are then reintroduced into the ecological cycle.
The slug pellets can be used with respect for the environment and are made from the active ingredient iron phosphate. This substance is naturally found in the soil. The granules are rainproof and therefore do not wash out in the rain. The pellets have no effect on other animals because they do not have a crop gland.
Instructions
- Sprinkle Escar-Go evenly between the plants as soon as slugs or snails are observed.
- Preferably scatter the granules in the evening, because snails are mainly active at night.
- Repeat the treatment if all the grains have been eaten away and snails are still observed.
- Sprinkle Escar-Go on plants that are attractive to snails, such as hosta, as soon as the plants start to sprout.
- Follow the instructions for use to avoid danger to human health and the environment. Take care not to contaminate water with the product or its packaging.
